Aerial of Schweiger RanchTall Tales Ranch will be located on an ideal piece of property, at I-25 and RidgeGate Parkway, in Lone Tree, Colorado. This 38-acre property is owned by the Schweiger Ranch Foundation who have donated a parcel to us to build our special community. It is directly across the street from the RidgeGate Light Rail station, which will allow easy access to everywhere from downtown Denver to Denver International Airport. Lone Tree is a welcoming community and we are close to a multitude of restaurants, retail shops, recreation and art centers and a hospital.

Community Event Barn
Community Event BarnThe Community Event Barn is the true hub of the Tall Tales Ranch community. This beautiful 8,000 square foot space is designed for people from the community to gather and connect. It is here that we will have our coffee shop and event venue. We will also make the space available to other organizations who would like to utilize it for meetings, events, retreats and classes. The upper floor will house office space and conference rooms which will also be made available to the community. The barn will offer a multitude of ways for Tall Tales Ranch to generate income and to provide vocational training for all of our friends living with special needs.
Paired Cottages
Paired CottagesTall Tales Ranch will include 4 buildings that will house our 28 apartments. The majority of the units will be one bedroom, with several two bedrooms as well. These spaces have been intentionally designed to be leased by people living with intellectual/developmental disabilities and to people without such disabilities (neurotypical). Our neurotypical neighbors will be carefully screened and vetted, to ensure safety and a community of true neighbors who care about one another. The cottages will be connected by the resident lounge-an area to gather, socialize, retrieve mail and do laundry.
Big Blue House
Big Blue HouseThe Big Blue House is a special space centrally located and for the use of our residents only. It is here that our residents can share meals, have some quiet time in the library or computer lab, watch a movie in the lounge and generally find connection and friendship. This space will also house apartments for staff or visiting family members.
